Author's Note: My first time writing an fanfic for the anime series Cardcaptors Sakura, so I will try my best.
Sakura is all grown up and going to college in New York. Her breakup with Li causes her to try to move on with her life, but will Li let her.

Chapter One

"OK honey, did you make sure you have everything you need for the campus?".
"Yeah Dad, I tripled check, I've got everything".
Sakura is packing her things for Julliard, a graduate school in New York City that she was dying to join for their dance classes and she was also taking some college courses in NYU.
She just turned 18 and finished high school and she was extremely excited to see what New York City look like.
Madison, her best friend, is coming with her, for piano and singing classes, and she is also taking classes to NYU too.
Sakura's father and brother are helping her with her bags and luggage but in a month her other things will be shipped to her apartment over there.
They took all the rest of her bags while Sakura took one last look around her home, so many things happened in this place, things no one would believe except her family and Madison.
The first time she let loose the cards and had to catch them to seal them back in, and the many, many times she had to feed Kero, which won't change much in New York, since he's coming with her.
There was nothing more she was going to miss more than being in this house, where she grew up and had many amazing times here.
"SAKURRRA, DID YOU PACK THE BOOK!!"
Here comes the thorn in her sometimes side, he flew inside the house and landed on her shoulder.
"Yes Kero, the book is inside my book bag that I personally will take inside the airplane to make sure they don't lose it".
"Good, and do you have the staff?".
"Yes mom, I have it around my neck where it belongs, anything else you want to annoy the hell outta of me?".
"No need to get an attitude, I was just checking, sheesh".
"Sorry Kero, it's just I'm going to miss this place so much and I don't know if I'm gonna make it in a place that's so strange and new to me".
"Awww, c'mon girl, your soooo gonna make it, your strong, brave, smart, and talented, you'll make it big".
She sighed. "I hoped so!".
"SAKURA, GET YOU BUTT IN THE CAR BEFORE WE'RE LATE FOR YOUR FLIGHT!!!"
"COMIIIINNGG!!!".
She took one last look around her old home and left with Kero to go to her new one, she ran to the car and got in with Kero on her lap in the backseat and her father and brother in the front.
Her father slowly back the car off to the airport, on the road, they talked about what she's gonna do when she gets there, what her father was going to do now that he was retired and Tori's new job in L.A. and marry life with Julian.
But there was one person she had in her mind and that was her ex-boyfriend Li, they first met when she let out the clow cards from the clow book, their competition to beat the other for all the cards is what made them close, but Li was the one who had a reality check about his feelings for her before she first realized her own.
When Li left with Meilin to China that was a blow to her heart, but deep inside she knew it was not the last she would see of the arrogant boy and that was enough for her heart.
To her relief it wasn't long before she saw him that she found out Meilin and Li's engagement was called off for another girl he had feelings for, that news wasn't what her heart needed to know and she became sorrowful and un-hopeful.
But fate did not seem to give up like she did because Li and herself had a play to do together and things became like a blur.
A battle began and brought Li and her together for six years and 3 months before doom headed their way.
New York City A Year Ago
Sakura and Li went to New York for summer vacation together to have some alone time and celebrate their special night, but Sakura's father didn't want her to live with Li alone, so he asked his sister that lives there to have her moved in until the summer was over and Li went to stay in a hotel.
Li found a summer job, in a restaurant waiting tables, so they barely spend anytime together, but Sakura decided to change that and make an surprise visit, on that night Sakura was planning the night that she was going to give up her virginity to him.
She packed up food and a bottle of champagne on her basket, she was wearing an sexy red dress, it had an plunging neckline and a long slit on her left side of the dress and on her feet, she was wearing red strappies, her hair in a french bun and just her favorite pink lipgloss.
She put on her black leather trench coat, grabbed her basket and her car keys and went to see him.
When she finally reached his hotel room, she knocked on the door and there was a sudden noise of something being smashed on the floor and the sound of two people running and mumbles.
("Hm, he's probably watching a movie or tv show".)
It took over a minute before Li opened the door and he had nothing left on except a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Sakura, love, what are you doing here?".
The tone of his voice disturbed her and rubbed her the wrong way.
"Um...It's our sixth anniversary, s...so I thought like other couples do, sorry, did I catch you on the wrong time?".
She looked at him with one eyebrow raised and a frown on her face.
"N...No, baby, of course not, I knew it was our anniversary, I just thought we would go out for dinner instead stay in".
"How did you know I wanted to stay in?"
He looked down at her hands and she followed his gaze to the basket in her hands, she looked up at him and giggled. "Oh right, I forgot about the basket, so let me in and we can start enjoying ourselves".
Sakura had to push roughly to get through before she could in, since Li was blocking the door.
She looked around the room and there was beer bottles all over the floor, and there was a woman's purse on the table.
She put down her basket and grabbed the purse slowly than turned adruptly to face him.
Li looked down instead at her face.
"Li, why is there an woman's purse here? I thought I heard another voice in your apartment, but I shook it off, thinking it was either the tv or radio on, what's going on? Is she still here?".
Sakura left him and walked around the apartment, she first went to the bathroom and pushed back the bathroom curtain, Li followed her and tried to stop her by reaching for her arm but she pulled away.
"Honey, you probably left it here last time and forgot about it, I mean, I did too".
"NO, I WOULD RECOGNIZE MY OWN PURSE IF I LEFT IT HERE AND THIS IS NOT IT, SO WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE? LI!!!".
Sakura's high pitch scream filled the room and Li winced at it.
She finally reached his bedroom, the same room that she dreamed every night she would be with, in his arms, glowing from their love-making but another woman might have shared it with him instead of her and it with him instead of her and it broke her heart to pieces.
The woman wasn't in the bed but that didn't mean she wasn't in the closet, it seem Li was thinking just like her because he ran towards it and block it from her.
"Sakura, wait, before you open the door, let me explain, after all the years we've been together, you own me this much".
She stopped moving and crossed her arms, staring at him with loathing and disgust in her eyes, tapping her foot on the floor fast.
"Fine, one minute to explain before I rip your whore to shreds".
Li gulped down his fears. "Fair enough, anyway, see, um...the guys wanted to have a few drinks at the bar just to have an guy's night out and I had too much to drink I guess and I bumped into an old friend there, she and I got to talking about old times and I invited her to my apartment to talk some more and I grabbed a six-packed from the fridge and since I was pretty wasted and so was she, it became worse when we finished the whole six packed and we flirted a little with each other and than we kissed and than before any of us could stop, I pushed her into my room, we removed each other's clothing and I pushed her to my bed and we had sex, but if it wasn't the involvement with alcohol, I would NEVER ever had let that happened. It was a total mistake and it will never happen again".
Li shooked his head and waved his arms to prove his point but before he saw it coming, Sakura punched him on the right side of his face and the force of it knocked him aside.
She walked up to the closet and roughly opened the door and the face she saw inside was not the person she thought would be there and the blow of shock and heartache made her walk backwards towards the bed and she fell hard on it.
The face that shock her was an old friend and fellow team mate of the Cardcaptors team, Meilin.
Meilin's face was just as pale as Sakura's was and she was trembling with fear,
Sakura let out a sob and broke into a hysterical crying, she placed her hands on her face and screamed into her hands to muffled it.
Li walked to her and wrapped his arms around her, clutching her.
Sakura calmed down enought to say one word in a whisper. "Why?".
"It was an accident Sakura, I never meant for this to happen, I wish I could go back in time and change everything..."
Then a look past through his face, he froze for a second and Sakura look up from her hands to see what happened.
Li turned his body and face directly at her before he spoke with a smirk on his face.
"Hey, why don't we use the Time Card to turn back time and change everything that way none of this ever happened, it would be like a bad dream".
Sakura furiously got up and turned to him and smack him on the face.
"YOU ASSHOLE, THAT WON'T CHANGE ANYTHING, I'M STILL GOING TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING AND USING THE CARDS FOR PERSONAL USE IS WRONG, YOU OUT OF ANYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT!!!".
Sakura turned around and ran out of the room, grabbed her basket and headed towards the front door, but when her hand touch the doorknob and she turned it, Li stopped her from opening it.
He turned her around and planted a rough passionate kiss on her lips, she tried to fight him off, but failed since her strength was no match against his.
Li then made a grabbed for her trench coast, trying to remove it from her body but only got far enough to her elbows, then he pushed through the fabric with his hand on her neckline and grabbed one of her breast, she yelped at the roughness of his hand on her and the pain he was causing by pulling and squeezing it.
Sakura was inbetween pain and fury, the only thing that came to her mind was trying to call one of her cards.
When she became mistress of the clow cards and book, Kero help taught her how to summon one of the cards to any location she was, so if danger was nearby and she needed help, all she had to do was call one in her mind and it will fly to her and she can use it against her enemy, the same went for the necklace wand.
So she closed her eyes and focus on the two items she needed, the wand and the power card, she calmed her nerves and her mind.
Li was now ripping at her dress and pulling both of breasts out of the dress, he put his mouth on each one and sucked at her nipples and bit them hard.
Which cause another sound from her, but it was a scream this time.
It took less than 5 minutes before both items she called for broke through the glass window and landed on her hand.
She said the words to open the want and it did, then she did the same for the card, a pink glow went through her body and she felt the power flow through her.
Li was in too much of a trance to notice this, his only goal was to have his way with her and have her stay with him.
"I'm going to make you feel good, you want this as much as I do, we are meant to be together and us having sex will make our bond stronger".
He finally ripped what was left of the dress until all she had was her red lace thong, when he saw it, he started to tug on that as well.
Sakura knew it was now or never before she lost herself to him and she couldn't bare that, so she moved her left leg and pushed his chest off of her with all the strength the card gave her and before anyone knew what was going to happen, Li flew in the air and went through the kitchen, landed on the table and it broke in pieces.
Meilin screamed and ran towards him to see to his aid but Sakura started buttoning her trench coat and tying the leather sash around her waist.
Good thing it was long enough to cover her half-naked body, she grabbed her basket from the floor and went to finally open the door and went to finally open the door, but only got half way out when Meilin called out to her.
"Sakura, you can't just leave him here without help, he's going to die if you don't call 911, this is your fault, you freak". Yelled Meilin, giving her a filthy look.
"He's not mine anymore, he's finally yours Meilin, enjoy your happiness with him".
With that said she closed the door behind her and walked alone down the hall, into the elevator and into her car, she drove away from her nightmare and to her Aunt's home, leaving everything she loved behind.
Present
"Hey, butthead, wake up, we're here".
Sakura woke with a start and blinked around, when her vision cleared she saw that they were indeed at the airport.
("Wow, how out of it was I?".)
"What were you dreaming about, shrimp?".
"None of your business dumbass".
"Hey, enough with the name calling". Their father screamed.
He stopped the car on the front of the airport and everyone got out to take out her bags from the car, Tori helped Sakura take her bags inside while their father looked for a parking spot.
Tori and Sakura were looking for gate number to the airplane she had to go to, they had a few minutes before she had to leave so they went to grab some food.
They talked about their past memories of their childhood, most many torment and somewhat joyous times.
Their father finally showed up and he sat with them and they enjoy the few minutes they had left together.
The announcer told everyone that the time for them to enter Gate A, that was Sakura's plane, so they ran to the location she had her bags taken and the ones she was keeping they check through the metal detector and she grabbed her bag and the book bag where the clow book and cards were in.
At the end of her entrance, she turned to the two men she ever loved.
They just stood and look at each other until her father went first, he embraced her tightly.
"You are one of the true treasures I had the pleasure in having in my life and I couldn't have had a better daughter to love, I will miss you so much".
"Aww, I love you too dad and I will miss you".
She gave him an extra hug before she let go, than turned to Tori, they just stared at each other's eyes and their was a spark of love and understanding, no words needed to be said for her to know how much he loved her and would miss her so.
He put his hand on top of her head and rubbed her hair around, messing it up in the process, that she pushed his hand away.
"Tor.....i....i....i....i....i" She whined.
"Just fixing your hair, it's a mess".
"Yeah, whatever". Smoothing down her hair.
She hugged him awkwardly and kissed his cheek before she grabbed her bag and ran towards her direction and gave her ticket to the man standing near the door to her plane and went in, before that door closed she turned around and waved her hand and gave a smile to her family, tears flowing her eyes and over her face.
They waved back, smiling back, that was all she saw before the door closed finally and she ran down the hall and got inside the plane.
She searched for her seat and found it, sat down by the window seat and a young boy and his mother sat next to her.
She held her pink book bag tightly until it wiggled, she opened it to see Kero out of breath.
"Kero, are you okay?". She whispered.
He blew out some air before he answered her. "Woman, are you trying to kill me? Jeez".
"Sorry, I forgot you were there".
Sakura put down the bag on the floor and put on her seat belt and then clutch her bag with Kero inside and the plane started to take off into the skies to a whole new life and adventure for her and him.
